Game of drones

Mag je met een drone over de tuin van de buren vliegen, en je zonnende buurvrouw fotograferen? Lieven Vandenhaute vroeg het op 16 september jl. aan Karen Ongena in 'Nieuwe Feiten' op Radio 1. Karen beantwoordde deze vraag in het licht van het recht op afbeelding en de privacyrechten van de buurvrouw. Meer horen?

Na 30 jaar onderhandelen, werd op 11 december 2012 eindelijk het Europees Octrooi goedgekeurd door het Europees Parlement. Dit zal ervoor zorgen dat octrooien goedkoper worden en een meer efficiënte bescherming kunnen bieden aan hun houders.
